TREATMENT GUIDELINES

Please note the following information

Our practice is approved by all health insurance companies, including statutory, private and employers‘ liability insurance associations. Treatments are carried out on the basis of a prescription for therapeutic products. Since January 2024, we have also been allowed to provide direct access treatment. This means that you can come to us directly with your complaints, without a prescription and without a prior visit to the doctor. In this case, we take care of the diagnosis and treatment.

For people with statutory health insurance

A statutory co-payment of 10% of the treatment costs plus 10 euros per prescription must be made at your first appointment. Please note that minors and those exempt from co-payment (proof required) are exempt from this regulation.

Those with statutory health insurance can also come to us via direct access. However, any services used must then be paid for by the patient.

We will settle the costs of treatments for people with statutory health insurance (excluding their co-payment) directly with their health insurance company.

For privately insured persons

For private patients, the price per treatment is calculated at 1.8 times the standard statutory health insurance rate. Private patients and patients with financial aid can request a cost estimate and will receive an invoice after all therapy sessions have taken place.

You pay the costs of treatment at our practice after all therapy sessions have taken place. You will receive an invoice for the services we have provided.

You can then submit the invoice to your insurance company. The amount of the reimbursed costs depends on your insurance. Please check your insurance conditions before starting treatment.

No, we treat all patients.

Our practice is approved by all health insurance providers, including statutory, private and professional associations.

In principle, we do not categorically exclude any symptoms from treatment.

However, as we are mainly active in the field of surgery and orthopaedics, we may refer you to experts in other fields for certain complaints.

Privately insured patients pay the costs of treatment at our practice after all therapy sessions have taken place. For privately insured patients, the price per treatment is calculated at 1.8 times the standard statutory health insurance rate.

Following treatment, you will receive an invoice from us which you can submit to your insurance company. The amount of the reimbursed costs depends on your insurance. Please check your insurance conditions before starting treatment.

Direct access is also possible through our alternative practitioner Carsten Coors.

This means that you can come to us directly with your complaints, without a prescription and without a prior visit to the doctor. In this case, we will take care of the diagnosis and treatment.

In this case, however, you will have to pay for all subsequent treatments yourself. Billing via the health insurance company is then not possible.

Services such as wellness massages, medical fitness and personal training can also be used as self-payers without prior diagnosis by us as self-payers.

Your prescription must not be older than a maximum of 28 days. Please note the issue date of your prescription.

If your prescription has expired, we will unfortunately not be able to carry out the treatment.

When booking an appointment via Doctolib, be sure to state the correct reason for your visit (you will find this on your prescription) and, if applicable, the complementary remedy, such as fango, heat therapy or electrotherapy. If you are unsure about the reason for your visit, please call us at 030 23568254. We will be happy to help you.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel it at least 24 hours in advance by telephone or via Doctolib. We charge a cancellation fee for missed appointments or appointments canceled too late (according to §615 BGB).

1. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a large towel to your appointment.

2. Arrive on time for every appointment. Please arrive 10 minutes early before your first appointment so that you can register at the practice without any time pressure. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for their first appointment.

3. Note for those with statutory health insurance: Please note the co-payment obligation. You pay ten percent of the treatment costs plus ten euros per prescription – payable directly at the practice in cash or by card.

4. Please note the date of issue of your prescription. It must not be older than 28 days. If your prescription has expired, we will unfortunately not be able to carry out the treatment.

We do not offer any discounts on treatments with a prescription.

We accept payments in the practice in cash, by EC card or credit card.

We offer regular patients discounts on certain self-pay services or products.

We do not offer any discounts on treatments that require a prescription.

Yes, you can also purchase vouchers from our practice and give them as a gift.
